Sometimes people have photographs taken in their working clothes, or with job-specific tools. Some examples:
The Annapolis Valley was the World's Largest Exporter of Apples until September 1939, and in most years shipped more than a million barrels. Those barrels had to be made from scratch, which implies an army of coopers, woodcutters, haulers, etc. I imagine that these two are coopers:
